LocalVerse launched as a UK (Bath)-based multi-vendor marketplace focused on strengthening local economies — tracking the carbon footprint and local economic impact of every purchase, using an upper-bound emissions estimate certified to international standards and a local-spend framework developed by VISA. It has since evolved into an AI-powered software company. Its flagship product, LocalVerse Lens, turns a single product photo into a complete marketplace listing in seconds — titles, descriptions and SEO metadata generated automatically, with background removal and image enhancement built in.
The Challenge
Local, independent sellers lose time and money to the manual grind of listing products online — writing descriptions, editing photos, and getting products live across multiple marketplaces one by one.

The Outcome
